July 2017 Lookbook

July has been one hectic month for me. From adjusting back to the tropical life, reunions with friends and family and traveling, my planner was completely packed to the fullest. I was so busy, I could only take naps on weekends (which if you know me, really says something). But busy schedules just mean more chances to dress up! So below are my favourite outfits of July this year, hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Summer Shopping, 8/7/17

For a casual shopping trip, I wore:

  • Primark Navy Cami Tank Top
  • Primark Super Stretch Skinny Jeans in Black
  • OFFICE Ballerina Pumps in Nude
  • Denim Outer Top from My God-Sister’s Closet
  • Oversized Floral Pink Necklace from my Mom’s Closet
  • Floral White Gucci Handbag

Whilst shopping I found a gorgeous long length skirt in Stardivarius, and a ridiculously glamorous velvet dress from Zara. I didn’t end up buying the skirt because they didn’t have my size, and I was never planning on buying the velvet dress just because it’s wayy too glamorous and I would only wear it at home anyway. But I will forever have the pictures to remember it.  ♡

Summer Reunions, Jakarta 17/7/17

When reuniting with my high school friends, I always stick with the three C’scasual, comfy and chic. Fun fact: 3 C’s are also what I got in High School, jk. To beat the heat of Jakarta, but still cover enough skin that my parents will let me out the house, I wore:

  • Primark Navy Cami Tank Top
  • Pull & Bear High Waisted Denim Shorts
  • M&S Knitwear Cardigan

Bikini Beachwear, Anyer  22/7/17

What’s a summer holiday in Indonesia if you don’t get to see the beach? After living in the North East for the past year, I cherished this opportunity to finally get some sun on my skin.

  • H&M Pink Tropical Romper
  • White Primark Triangle Bikini
  • Red Birkenstocks
  • Primark Pink Cat Eye Sunglasses

  • Primark Black Crochet Bikini
  • Rayban Aviators in Black

Hello Yellow, Anyer 23/7/17

Yellow is a colour that you either love or hate, it’s so bright, striking and eye-catching. Which are the reasons why I love the colour yellow so much. Plus, it’s a perfect colour for summer days under the sun.

On my last day of my weekend holiday in Anyer I outfitted a casual summer look for the beach:

  • Zara Off The Shoulder Blouse in Yellow
  • Pull & Bear Light Denim High Waisted Shorts
  • White Stussy Cap
Dom Pérignon Champagne Party, Cork & Screw Jakarta, 28/7/17

Cork & Screw is more known for their exquisite collection of wine and their delicious menu of Western and Indonesian food. However, for their 10th anniversary, Cork & Screw hosted a Dom Pérignon Champagne party, complete with an international DJ, a raving dance floor and even a birthday cake.

To be as glitzy glamorous as the party itself was, I wore:

  • Asos Tall Crop Swing Cami in Sequin Navy
  • Primark Super Stretch Skinny Jeans in Black
  • Charles & Keith Black Push Lock Swing Bag
  • My Mom’s Black Wedges (lol)

Last but not least, is everyone’s favourite

– the trousers that don’t look like pants. They make it look like I’m making an effort to look chic, when in fact I’m just trying to get away being comfy in public. What I paired these stripey trousers with:

  • Forever 21 Black Long Sleeve Top
  • Charles & Keith Black Push Lock Swing Bag
  • -Cute AF kitty phonecase

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed my summer fashion adventure as much as I did ♡
